Terms & Conditions – Course Enrolment & Fees
1. Enrolment Confirmation
- By submitting this form and payment, you agree to enrol in the selected course delivered by Step8Up.
- Your place is confirmed once full payment (or approved funding) has been received.
2. Fees & Payment
- All course fees must be paid in full prior to the course start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Fees include access to learning materials, tutor support, and one exam attempt (if applicable).
- Payment confirms your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
3. Cancellations & Refunds for Instructor-led Courses
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course start date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date will incur a 50% fee.
- No refunds will be issued after the course start date.
- For self-paced courses, no refunds after the course has been accessed once.
- Funded learners are subject to the terms of the funding body; failure to complete may result in you becoming liable for the fee.
4. Transfers
- You may transfer to another course date if requested at least 7 days before the start date, subject to availability and with mutual discussions.
5. Learner Requirements
- You must have access to a suitable device (laptop/desktop), reliable internet, webcam, microphone, and speakers for online learning and exams.
- You must meet any specific course entry requirements stated in the course description.
6. Certification & Exam
- Certificates are awarded by the relevant awarding body (e.g., BCS) upon successful completion of the course and passing the exam.
- Exam rules and re-sit policies are set by the awarding body and must be followed.
7. Data Protection
- Your personal information will be stored securely and shared only with the awarding body and authorised partners for the purposes of course delivery and certification.
