Entry Requirement
There are no entry requirements for this certification. Training with a BCS accredited training provider is recommended.
Technical requirements
To participate fully in remote training and sit the BCS exam, you’ll need: A working laptop or desktop (Chromebooks, tablets, and smartphones are not recommended) ICS Learn Reliable Wi-Fi connection A webcam, microphone, and speakers (for online classes and virtual exam monitoring) Access to the online exam platform—note some government or corporate systems may block it; consult support if needed.
Prior Experience
Prior experience helpful, not mandatory: Familiarity with project delivery roles (e.g., tester, analyst, developer, project manager) can help—but it's not required.
Valid photo ID required
You must be able to present this to sit the exam.
