The past couple of weeks have been special. Winning the HSBC London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Person of the Year Award has been a huge honour – and the team has been celebrating because this recognition truly belongs to them.
Every learner supported, every partnership built, every event organised, every small improvement we make together is part of that journey.
That’s why this milestone feels less like a finish line and more like a signal to create even greater impact.

Our partnerships keep strengthening — including exciting collaborations with the Hampshire Business Show, ongoing work with Innovation In, and new discussions with Board North. A number of projects supporting job seekers are moving forward, and our collaboration with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) continues to help SMEs access co-funded training places.
We also ran several webinars and discussions around AI adoption for SMEs, sharing practical resources for businesses navigating this rapidly changing landscape.
One moment that stayed with me was watching my kid continue playing sport after an initial injury – carefully, thoughtfully, but with confidence. It reminded me that progress is rarely about avoiding difficulty. It’s about learning how to move forward wisely.
That connects strongly with something I keep seeing across business, leadership, and life:
Real transformation rarely comes from one big breakthrough.
